Stockholm International Toastmasters is a not-for-profit educational club where members help each other improve their public speaking and leadership skills. The club is a member of the worldwide organization Toastmasters International.
The club has over 30 members of different gender, age, and educational, professional and national backgrounds. Some members are expatriates or guest workers from around the world. Others are native Swedes. You don’t have to be a native English speaker to enjoy the club!
History of Stockholm International Toastmasters
In 1999, Stockholm Park Toastmasters holds the first meeting. The founders are Agneta Loge André, Pelle Holmberg, with support from Elizabeth Nostedt, the Area Governor of clubs in Scandinavia at the time. In 1996, Stockholm Park Toastmasters changes name to Stockholm International.
